With a love of Travel Nancy Eckert runs the US sales officeTravel has always been an important part of my life. I love experiencing different cultures. I can remember my first trip to a different country. When I was seven, I went on a family vacation to Mexico. I remember being surprised by the way the people live. From that moment on I wanted to travel to see as many different cultures as possible.

After I graduated from Illinois State University in 1989, I decided to become involved in travel as a career my love of exploring new places and meeting interesting people. I have been working for The Wayfarers in the Newport office since April 2004. I have been to many remote parts of the world and look forward to each new adventure.

I have had the pleasure of joining several of The Wayfarers' walks including the Italian Lakes Walk. I was completely awestruck by the beauty of the region. The trip was a nice mix of wilderness and culture. The various walks were along mountain ridges covered in wildflowers with views of the lakes or along ancient Roman roads through medieval villages. And I loved that we went everywhere by boat. I look forward to my next Wayfarers Walk!
