Ken (far right) and Linda (center left) are pictures with Michael West and Ron Grossmith Australian born I spent much of my early life travelling and exploring the world, including two years national service with the Australian army, before settling in Sydney to a career in information technology. I met Linda, whose background is marketing and special events, when she emigrated from England to Australia in 1980. We were married in 1984 and have one son, James, who is studying architecture at university.

The Wayfarers connection dates back to the late 1970s when Linda and the company's founder, Michael West, worked alongside each other in London. In 1985, when Michael visited Australia and offered myself & Linda the opportunity to be representatives in the region, we were more than happy to take on the challenge and become part of the family of friends that is The Wayfarers.

From the lush islands of Britain to the shores of the New World, The Wayfarers continue to create new paths for the walking enthusiasts. The unique Walks that began in 1984 in England now span Europe, the United States and New Zealand with invigorating itineraries, new destinations and distinctive ways of experiencing the special culture of life in the country. New walks include Pentillie Castle, The Dolomites, Sicily: Agrigento, Marsale & the Isle of Mozia.
