We will stay at the world famous Stanley Hotel with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains and we’ll enjoy snowshoeing, ghost hunting, shopping and of course dining!
A special highlight will be our historic tour of the Stanley Hotel, which was built in 1910. Author Stephen King was inspired to write “The Shining” while he and his wife stayed in Room 217. King later directed the television version of the book
which was filmed at the hotel. The tour is fun and you’ll learn about all the ghosts at the hotel…..don’t worry, they’re friendly, unless you’re staying in the Honeymoon Suite…. www.stanleyhotel.com
