Magnificent mountains and serene fjords provide an invigorating setting for our new Norway Walk. We begin with a guided tour of the old Hanseatic wharfside in Bryggen, a World Heritage Site, which gives us a marvelous understanding of Norways seafaring heritage.

Then its off to the mountains, where we hike the trails around the notable Western Fjords. We visit a cider farm and taste the apple cider, walk on the Jostedal Glacier and explore the fascinating Hardanger Folk Museum, discovering more about the local way of life.

We walk through high meadows filled with wildflowers and fresh forests of pine and beech. Small ferries are an enjoyable necessity in this coastal region and we use many to wend our way across this lovely country where you are always in sight of the sea.

"Wayfarers' Walks enrich your whole understanding of a country. They understand it's not just scenery; it's culture and history too"
